Qualifications include:
·Current certification as a New York State Public School Administrator;
·Minimum of three years administrative experience;
·Minimum of two years of direct building supervisory experience;
·Possess excellent organizational, managerial, planning and implementation skills;
·Strong knowledge of effective instructional practices.
Responsibilities include:
·Oversee the day-to-day operations of the high school;
·Monitor, assess and evaluate effective instruction and assessment practices;
·Supervise and evaluate the performance of all employees;
·Address employee performance issues in an open, honest and timely manner;
·Assist in recruiting, screening and interviewing candidates for school and district positions;
·Model and promote trust, enthusiasm, risk taking, rapport, respect and openness among faculty, staff, students and members of the community;
·Ability to manage fiscal, physical, and human resources to successfully carry out the function and programs of the office;
·Ability to read, write and interpret curriculum guides, budgets, assessment data, labor contracts, grant applications, statutes and policies.
SALARY
